I've drawn this guy numerous times, but never tried to paint him until this week. I got the reference pic at my cousin's house in North Carolina, where the blue birds have more color that the ones we have in Colorado. He's a curious bugger, isn't he?
I like it!! The way his head cocks to the side is so intriguing - and the color is sweet, soothing, and yet vibrantly bright!
